World Snooker have apparently rejected a request from the newly formed Snooker Players Association for a meeting to discuss several issues on their agenda.
World Snooker claim that they only recognise the WPBSA as the only association that can work on behalf of the members. They state that through them and the regular player forums the players have the channels to bring up issues with the WSA and see no need for another association.
