Irish duo reach final

It's an all Irish final tomorrow in Duffel , Belguim as David Hogan faces off against Mario Fernandez in the final of the European Championships. David Hogan recorded a superb 6-0 victory over Sascha Lippe today in his semi final encounter while Mario overcame Brendan O'Donoghue 6-2 in the other semi final.

The final should see one of the Irish lads gain a place on the main tour next season along with O'Donoghue who finished No.1 in the Irish rankings last month.

In the Over-40's section Ireland have another player through to the final with Joe Delaney seeing off Ron Jones from Wales 5-4 and will now meet firm favourite Welshman Darren Morgan in the final. Darren reached the final thanks to a solid 5-0 win over David Brabiner and will be hard to beat in tomorrow's final.

The Ladies section aslo saw the firm favourtie Wendy Jans through to the final after a 4-1 win against Cathy Dehane and she will now face Anna Mazhirina after she came back from 3-2 down to beat Inese Lukashevska 4-3.
