The 2009 European Championships are fast approaching and the organisers in Belgium will be running an Under-21 International Open during the run up to the event on the 30th and 31st of May. The Sports Center T.C. De Pollepel in Duffel will be the venue and entries are now been taken for up to 40 entries which will include local favourite Luca Brecel, the newly crowned European Under-19 Champion.
Entry into the event is open to all Under-21 players around Europe and entry is only €50. The event will be run in groups of 5 players with best of 5 frame matches starting on the 30th of May and genourous accomodation packages are available for all participants.
