Thailand, with four players left in the last 8 will be confident of glory this time round but thier big hope Thanawat Thirapong will have a tough match in Iran's Sohail Vahedi who won three of his four group matches only to narrowly lose out to Thialand's Poramin Danjirakul  for the top spot in his group.

Poramin will face fellow Thai player Noppom Saegkham in thier quarter final encounter and the winner will either face China's Cao Yupeng or India's last remaining hope Shahbaz Khan (Pictured) who has had a very impressive tournament to date winning all 5 group game matches which included a 3-0 win over China's Li Yuan. (75-40, 66-19, 70-23)
