China's Xiao Guodong took gold in the 6 Red Snooker event in the Asain Games thanks to a 5-2 win over fellow country man Liang Wenbo in the final. Xiao had to battle back from 2-0 down against the Shangahi Masters finalist to take five frames in a row for victory in the final.
The event saw Asia's top guns battle it out for the 6 red title and it was China who dominated with Gold and Silver while Chinese Taipei's Yu Lun Wu took the bronze medal after beating India's Manan Chandra in the third place playoff.
The games continue until the 7th of November and all eyes will be on who will take the gold in the men's singles with Guodong and Wenbo among the favourites again although the likes of Pankaj Advani and Mohammed Shehab will be there or thereabouts come the medal ceremony.
